Thank you for your interest in employment at Potomac Crescent Waldorf School. We are located in the DC Metro area, in Alexandria, VA–an environment rich with culture, historical significance, and natural beauty. Our pedagogy is based on the work of Rudolf Steiner. We offer a play-based Early Childhood program and a unique Elementary curriculum through Grade Five.

Open Employment Positions

Music Teacher

We are currently looking for a Music Teacher to teach weekly music lessons in our grades classes, first through fifth. Applicants should have a confident singing voice, preferably without vibrato, and the ability to lead a class with pentatonic flute (Grades 1 & 2); diatonic flute (Grade 3 & in a combined music class of Grades 4 & 5). Substitutes

We welcome applications for qualified substitutes for our Early Childhood and Grades programs. In addition, applicants should enjoy working with children and express an interest in Waldorf Education.
