BEFORE AND AFTERCARE

Early Bird Program (7:30-8:30 a.m.)

We offer an Early Bird program Monday-Friday for pre-k and kindergarten children who need to be dropped off before their morning class begins.

Afternoon Program (12:00-3:00 p.m.)

The Afternoon Program complements the morning pre-K and kindergarten rhythms; the same Waldorf education principles and care shape the program. The morning program flows into the Afternoon Program, creating a seamless transition for the child. The Afternoon Program offers a time to receive nourishment, rest, digest the morning activities, socialize, and play.

Extended Day Program (3:00-5:30 p.m.)

The early childhood Extended Day program is a continuation of the healthy rhythm of the morning and afternoon programs. Children will have an opportunity to refresh and relax with a snack together before engaging in more imaginative and outdoor play, games, crafts, or other activities. They will end the day with quieter activities such as coloring and storytime.

ELEMENTARY
Our Elementary Program, Grades 1-5, offer a developmentally appropriate, experiential approach to education. We integrate academics and the arts to inspire life-long learning in each student and enable them to fully develop their unique capabilities.

We strive to develop thoughtful, fulfilled citizens who have the capacity to think imaginatively, communicate effectively, and relate compassionately. We believe in the Waldorf curriculum for educating the whole human being: head, heart and hands, which nurture well-rounded individuals who will be successful in school and beyond.

GRADES AFTERCARE

Grades Thursday Afternoon Program (12:00-3:00 p.m.)

The Afternoon Program for grades students is offered on Thursdays, which is an early release day. In the Afternoon Program, the students have lunch, socialize with friends, play games, and walk to parks in the area.

Grades Extended Day Program (until 5:30 p.m.)

After their active day at school or the Thursday Afternoon Program, grades students will have an opportunity to refresh and relax with a snack together before engaging in an activity, outdoor play, or an excursion. They will end the day with a more collected activity, such as reading, homework, games, or crafts.
